It's been crazy these past weeks. CRAZY!!
I temporarily moved to a 1-bedroom (for a month), started my work, got lost multiple times, spent many, many hours on public transportation, the day I started work I found out I missed a very important deadline and was about to miss another one....Ugh!! The academic madness has begun!
On pregnancy level: I didn't have much time to think about it,my belly is growing, I'm trying to do my best so that it doesn't slow me down, I try to eat healthy but most often don't have the time to cook properly. But I'm sure it's temporary. Once I know my way around, it's going to get better. Plus, I found out that since I'm pregnant I can travel first class in the train with a second-class ticket (score!!)And I also want to say that I love my Claude. He has been so helpful and sweet... He carried my heavy luggage everywhere, he has been cooking, cleaning, looking for apartments, doing everything for me. It was so nice to have him here for a week. I don't know what I will do next week and I don't know what I would do without him.
Yay on everything! What is your new job? Do you like it? So happy for you! And when does Claude move to be with you? Can you believe that you're over halfway to getting to snuggle your blueberry in your arms?! it's crazy/wonderful! You look AMAZING! We miss you mucho from here, and we have many updates for you too!!! We will need to skype! Do you have skype?? i'm just mdakkak on it!
ReplyDeleteHi May, yes, it's a post-doc ( a fake one for only 3 months), I like it, it's challenging not intellectually for now but in terms of the commute and such. Claude will come in March. We miss you mucho as well. We HAVE to have a skype date. Claude might come this sat, if he comes, how about this saturday?? otherwise next saturday?? I'm adding you right now.
ReplyDeleteSaturday works! It'll be my 30th birthday! we're going to go out at night, but should be around in the morning (your evening). I can text claude when we wake up! We're going to have our baby boys so soon!!! it's incredible! I'm so happy you're doing something to keep you busy! I was telling claude that I'm doing volunteer consulting at the UN just to keep my mind and body a little busy! I go crazy otherwise! BIG HUGS and hope all is well!!
